Four Hundred and Ninety-Three

Dear Callumz,

 It's a special day, so I decided to do something I know you'll like.

    This is so damn hard to put into words.
    Some things cannot be summarized, like our love.

    I love you, Kaitlin.
    I know that much.
    I know it because I don't care if you wake me up.
    In fact, I enjoy it. You're cute when you're sleepy.
    I know it because when I say your name, I feel it…
    I can't sleep without you.
    I feel lonely when I'm not with you.
    I get worried when I hear it drop out.

    I get sad when the quality goes bad.

    And it hurts whenever I have to end the call.

      Dear Callumz,

      I sit here for what feels like hours, trying to do you justice with words. While I can't do it right, I manage to find something that will do, for now.

      I love you and when we're not together I dream of you.
      It hurts to sleep without you, and the first thing I do when I wake up is just listen to hear whether you're still there.
      Even with people around, I feel alone because you aren't one of them.
      You are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
      I know that much is true.
